You may of heard of the magic word from your parents, which is "please". But have you heard the tragic word?
Can you guess what it is?
Stupidity?
Idiot?
Rude?
Mean?
Failure?
No, the word is actually "bullying".
No one wants to be bullied, right?
Bullying can come in many ways. One of the most popular ways is on the internet.
Today's Example Story
The Story of Lola
Lola has two great friends, Maggie and Quinn. They do everything together. They can hardly be separated, until Lola discovers the truth about Maggie and Quinn.
Lola had never felt so upset in her life. She saw Maggie and Quinn doing everything together- without her. She felt excluded and left out. Inside, she felt like bursting into tears. She had to do something right away. She had some good ideas, and some bad:
1. To run into the bathroom and get a good cry.
2. Tell an adult, like a teacher or a parent.
3. Talk to the girls and tell them how she feels.
Get this: Lola did all of those things. She cried first, and got some tears out that were in the corners of her eyes. Second, she told her friends how she felt. It didn't seem like they understood, and they got upset with her for the way she felt. So, lastly, she decided to go for #2. Talk to an adult.
Once Lola got home, she told her parents. Lola got some good advice from her parents about how to handle the situation.
